Unknown people entered a church compound last night and murdered the reverend.
The PCEA fraternity is mourning the murder of the PCEA Tabuga Church minister in Nakuru. Apparently, the thugs entered the reverend’s house within the church compound yesterday, robbed his house, and killed him.
PCEA Tabuga is in Lanet ward, Bahati constituency.
Nakuru residents, led by Kimani Ngunjiri, former MP, have condemned the heinous crime. They have also called on the police to investigate the incident.
Directing his message to the President, the former MP said that the insecurity in the area should be addressed. He noted that the murder of the PCEA reverend is not an isolated incident, citing 10 more killings reported in the recent past, within Lanet.
He warned that if the government does not deal with the insecurity, residents might have to take action to keep themselves safe.
Meanwhile, the area MP Irene Njoki condemned the murder and demanded justice to be meted out fast.
