At least 3 people have died from a shooting in Idaho. The shooting happened at a fast food outlet on Saturday night in Idaho’s Twin City.
Matthew Hicks, who is the city’s police chief, confirmed the unfortunate incident. However, at the time of reporting, he was not able to confirm the number of casualties.
Hicks did not release the names of the victims either. Instead, he told the press that authorities were still trying to reach the families of the victims.
Threat of the Shooting in Idaho Ended
For sometime, nobody seemed to know whether the shooter was still alive and dangerous. However, a senior police officer, Chief Duane Rubink of Jerome Police, later told the press that the shooter had also died. Apparently, he had shot himself.
Though police have not formally released details of the shooting, video clips appearing online seem to show the shooting incident. In them, a man seems to be shooting from the parking lot and then running away.
Nevertheless, it is now clear there is no more threat. The only other known information is that a number of people were injured, probably as many as 7.
Still, police have warned the public not to speculate about the shooter’s identity.
