The attention of Seattle Police was drawn to a scuffle where a 63yr old man had just stabbed a 29yr old man, as both tried to board a bus plying a city route.

Police soon caught up with the stabbing culprit who had already fled the crime scene close to a corner on Queen Anne Avenue, and recovered from him a knife plus a firearm that did not belong to him.

Meanwhile, officers from the Seattle Fire Department gave the victim first aid and rushed him for further treatment at the Harborview Medical Center. The stabbing incident took place some minutes after 2 am Saturday.

The Seattle stabbing suspect, who was close to the junction where 3rd Avenue meets Union St. when police arrested him, was set to be booked at Seattle’s King County Jail. It is said the man has previously been accused of a similar crime, from which he was yet to be cleared.
