Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian is talking the tough language of the IRG. Unlike last week, when he apologized to the Gulf states for attacking them unprovoked, the Iranian President issued a tough statement yesterday, Wednesday, 12th 2026, on the X platform.
He said Iran is not going to stop fighting unless three conditions are met:
- Everyone recognizes Iran’s legitimate rights
- Iran receives reparations for damage and losses caused by the war
- There is credible international assurance that Iran will not face such aggression in the future.
Meanwhile, fighting continues with even greater intensity, with the Iranian military coordinating with Hezbollah in launching attacks against Israel.
Israel is still on the Offensive.
Even as Israel feels the heat from Iran and Hezbollah, its military has been continuing its attacks, with Lebanon’s capital, Beirut, being a target. Lebanon is Iran’s ally.
Also, together with the US, Israel has been attacking different Iranian cities with explosives, and not just Tehran.
Russian President and Pakistani Prime Minister Spoke with Iranian President
Before stating Iran’s conditions for ending the war, Pezeshkian had spoken with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
It is worth noting that Pakistan and Iran have a cordial relationship. They share a common border, and both countries are predominantly Muslim. At the same time, it is in Pakistan’s interest that the Gulf region remains safe, one of the reasons being that there is a high population of Pakistanis earning a living in the Gulf. Pakistan also sources a lot of its oil from the region.
As for Russia and Iran, they are two countries that respect each other and appreciate the impact of being at loggerheads with Western countries. Both have, from time to time, experienced economic sanctions from the West for different reasons.
For now, Iranians are fired up to fight, because they are avenging the killing of their Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who is now considered a martyr.
