The occupants of a house were evacuated yesterday to safety as a plane abruptly fell on their house.
A plane trying to land in the city of Ohio, USA, crashed in a residential area. It landed on an occupied house in the city of Akron, but apparently the occupants escaped unhurt.
Pilots are known to crash land when their aircraft develops problems, particularly if their destination is too far off. For example, in February, a Nairobi-bound plane crash landed soon after take off from Mogadishu.
Unfortunately, the crew in the Ohio aircraft did not survive. Immediate reports showed that the crashed house had four occupants who all survived, but two dead bodies were found inside the aircraft.
