The funeral of the PCEA church minister who passed away last Sunday will take place next Tuesday.

Reverend Daniel Kamau Ndiritu, whose last posting was PCEA Thika Town, died on Sunday, 10th May 2026. His funeral ceremony will take place on Tuesday, 19th May 2026.

Family and friends have been condoling with the family at Thika, where Reverend Daniel Ndiritu worked, and at Kiu Kenda, Kiambu, where he lived with his family. Bereavement prayer sessions formally started on Wednesday, 13th May 2026.

Today’s Memorial Event

The prayer sessions will culminate in today’s memorial service at PCEA Thika Town Church starting at 3 p.m. This means the bereavement prayers, previously scheduled for 2 p.m., have now been upgraded to a full memorial service beginning at 3 p.m. today.

Family and friends will then take a one-day break to prepare for the funeral. Unconfirmed reports from church faithful allege the late reverend had been battling depression for a while, which apparently led to his demise.
