The world, especially the US, is still reeling from the excitement of the recent space adventure’s success.
However, many people are wondering:
- How are the four astronauts feeling?
- Did they see anything they never imagined?
- Did they find the mission over 406, 000 kilometers away exhilarating or scary?
- Has the experience changed any of their perspectives in life?
The Artemis II crew of four, Christina Koch, Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, and Jeremy Hansen, will soon be on hand to answer as many questions as possible.

About the Artemis II astronauts
The four astronauts left Florida’s Kennedy Space Center on April 1, 2026, and returned on April 10, 2026. For the 10 days they were in space, they manually piloted the Orion spacecraft.
Their arrival was marked by a successful splash into the Pacific Ocean, off the San Diego coastline. Helicopters were then used to pick them up from the floating capsule and take them to Houston. They arrived in Houston on April 11th.
They have been in Houston since then, getting re-orientated to the earthly environment: being evaluated and receiving relevant debriefs.
