An Oklahoma school principal tackled a gunman to the ground and prevented him from shooting at students. The principal ignored the fact that the gunman had his gun out and pointed.
Who was the gunman?
The gunman was a former student. On the fateful day, April 7th, he walked into the school lobby waving his gun. Then he shouted orders for everyone to lie on the floor, as he pointed his gun in the direction of two students.
In a CCTV video just released, the principal can be seen running at breakneck speed and tackling the would-be shooter to the floor. Soon, another member of staff rushed to the scene and removed the gun from the shooter’s hand.
Who is the Heroic School Head?
The principal who heroically saved lives in his school is Mr. Kirk Moore of Paul’s Valley High School. Investigators say the former student not only wanted to shoot students, but also the principal.
Fortunately, his mission was successfully thwarted. Meanwhile, the brave principal had to be treated in the hospital because he sustained a gunshot wound in his leg as he tackled the villain. He is now out of the hospital.
