Brace for strong bombardments of your universities: The Islamic Revolutionary Guard (IRG) tells students and their lecturers in universities within the Gulf Countries.
The only thing that will stop the IRG from targeting some Gulf universities, Iran says, is if the US formally condemns the bombing of Iran’s institutions of learning. Moreover, that apology must be in the form of a statement issued by midday, 30th March, 2026.
Which Learning Institutions has the US-Israel duo attacked?
On the first day of the war, missiles from the US-Israeli attack hit a school in Minab within Iran’s Hormozgan Province. Amnesty International has confirmed that 168 people died in that attack, among them more than 100 children.
The United Nations has condemned the attack on Shajareh Tayyebeh Girls School, but it has left the US to carry out the investigation.
The most recent attack on an Iranian learning institution affected the Isfahan University of Science and Technology (IUST). The US-Israel duo struck the Tehran-based university and caused extensive damage to it. According to the IRG, the duo has attacked more learning institutions in Iran, and it is now time for Iran to retaliate.
The Stern Warning by the IRG
As has been happening since the Iran war started, Iran has been hitting facilities in the Gulf countries hard to hurt America. The ballistic missiles Iran has cannot reach the US, and since the Gulf countries are so friendly to the US that they allow it to keep war assets in their countries, Iran is retaliating through them.
This time, the IRGC has issued a statement saying that it must target at least two universities within West Asia, which belong to either the US or Israel. The Iranian statement carried by the Tasnim News Agency explicitly advised everyone who is normally found within those universities, workers, professors, students, etc., to remain a minimum of a kilometer from those universities as from Monday.
So far, neither Donald Trump’s government nor Benjamin Netanyahu’s has issued a statement to condemn the unfortunate strike on IUST or any other learning institution.
