It is now the 2nd week since Christine Akinyi went missing. Christine was on her way to Kenya from the Gulf region last week when she was spotted at the Jeddah Airport.
Apparently, her connecting flight was available, but she chose not to board. She has not been seen or heard from since, and her family is worried.
Akinyi’s expected date of arrival in Kenya was 19th April 2026, more than a week ago.
How Akinyi was Dressed
When Christine Akinyi was last seen at Jeddah Airport, she was dressed as ladies typically do in the Gulf region. She had covered her head with a black headscarf and wore a long, light blue dress with darker blue and white patterns. She is also said to have been carrying a black handbag.
An activist, Nelson Muriuki, was the first to bring the news to the public’s attention. The family is now seeking information regarding their kin, Christine Akinyi. They say no matter how minor you think the information might be, they need to hear it.
Hopefully, if Akinyi gets a chance to read this and other similar messages, she will do her best to send a signal, possibly through SMS or social media. She should also know that her family is not giving up on her.
