Jeffrey Epstein, the US sex trafficker and offender, apparently had nothing to fear while in London. After all, UK police never opened investigations into any of the cases that victims reported.
Less than a month before his arrest and subsequent death, Epstein was still involved in sex trafficking.
Receipts and communication contained in recently released files show that just 16 days before his arrest, he organized for a woman to be relayed to London.
US authorities apprehended Epstein and incarcerated him in July 2019, but he died in confinement before his case could be finalized.
Epstein was Becoming Bolder by the Day
Epstein had several flats in London. It is here that he kept many of the girls he trafficked into the UK. He would then transport them from there to his desired destinations to meet his desired needs.
Communication in the Epstein files between him and some girls indicates that the flats were sometimes overcrowded. It also shows that Epstein did a range of favors for the girls he wanted to ensnare. Such favors included paying their school fees or their rent.
Sometimes the girls he ensnared started as tenants in his London flats. According to the records, it appears he bought 53 tickets to transport girls from France to London or vice versa.
One of the first victims to accuse Epstein of sexual offenses was Virginia Giuffre. Yet of the 53 tickets discovered, 33 were purchased after she had raised her complaints with the London police.
The records also show that Epstein often used Eurostar, the international fast-speed rail transport service, to transport his victims from mainland Europe to the UK.
High-ranking Individuals Suffering for their Epstein Associations
Although Epstein is long dead, his associations continue to haunt many of his highly placed friends. Among them is Andrew Mountbatten, who has long lost his royal titles.
Another one is Lord Mandelson, former UK ambassador to the US, who had no choice but to tender his resignation last year. Mandelson’s association with Epstein is also threatening the political career of UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
