Iran seems fed up with the uncertainty the US has been projecting. According to Iran, the US speaks of peace negotiations, yet it presents a list of rigid demands in an apparently condescending manner.

Then, President Donald Trump declares a ceasefire, yet continues to send aircraft carriers to the war region. He has also continued to interfere with the free navigation of oil ships from the Gulf region, in an apparently haphazard manner.

Iran’s Bare Knuckle Threat

Iran’s aerospace commander, who is a scholar and engineer, Brigadier General Seyyed Majid Mousavi, has dropped a bombshell. Iran is ready for real war. The country is prepared to go all out without inhibitions.

He spoke to the country’s state media a couple of days ago, and said if the US and Israel resume war after the just-ended 14-day ceasefire, his country will not hold back. He spoke to the media just as the ceasefire period was about to end.

When the 2-week ceasefire period ended, US President Donald Trump announced an indefinite extension. According to Mousavi, Iran’s next course of action could be devastating to the entire oil-producing region.

Iran’s stern warning has sent jitters beyond the region. Countries around the world, especially Middle Eastern oil producers, have become anxious.

Mousavi said that from now on, if the US acts aggressively against Iran, his country is going to retaliate. Using strong language, he said that Iran’s reaction will show its military strategy, as well as the will of the Iranian people.

Mousavi issued the threat as the world has grown cynical about the prospects of resolving the conflict through diplomatic channels.

Iranians Rally Behind Their Government

Iranians have been gathering in huge numbers in open spaces to show support for their military. The state media broadcast General Mousavi’s war threat across all those fields for everyone to hear. He praised the Iranian masses and informed them that the Iranian military is not dropping its guard even during periods of announced ceasefire.

Iran Warns Its Neighbors

Without mincing words, Mousavi addressed his neighbors, presumably the Gulf countries, in plain and direct language. He said that as long as one permits the US to use its territory or resources to attack Iran, it can expect catastrophic consequences from Iran.

If Iran’s neighbors continue to cooperate with the US, Mousavi threatened, his army’s response could lead to a total shutdown of any oil production across the entire West Asia. As a result, the global oil market will fall into turmoil.
