While laughing at what US President Donald Trump called a “successful operation”, an Iranian analyst explained that the US lost 12 aircraft in one day. That was Sunday, 5th, 2026, the day the US went out on a rescue mission inside Iran.
Besides, the analyst explained how the Islamic Revolutionary Guard had shot at the US planes, causing them to make emergency landings. Apparently, those are the aircraft the US told the media they purposely destroyed to keep them out of enemy hands. The question remains: How was the rescue mission accomplished if the planes had been forced to crash-land prematurely?
An IRGC spokesperson also confirmed that the US personnel on the rescue mission opted to bomb the planes, but that was because they were overwhelmed by the vigilance of the Iranians. This means the US military personnel had no way of getting the planes out of the place where they had made an emergency landing.
According to the Iranian analyst, the destroyed aircraft comprised two C-130s full of war equipment; four helicopters, two MQ-9 drones, and four UH-60s, Black Hawks. The US personnel on site bombed and destroyed them before making a quick escape.
The analyst explained that the Iranian special unit forces and the police special units, too, had witnessed the wreckage of those aircraft.
He also said that Iranians were pleased to take photographs amidst the wreckage of those aircraft, holding both the Iranian and US flags. Looking at a map showing a sprawling area strewn with aircraft wreckage, the interviewer agreed with the analyst that it resembled a Hollywood scene.
US Generals Fired
The Iranian analyst revealed that he had intelligence, indicating that Donald Trump had ordered the firing of 12 US generals who had opposed the design of the potentially catastrophic mission. He said that from their professional standpoint, they could see, and they clearly said, that the mission as planned was sheer “madness”.
