Nestle is looking for its chocolate. Nestle’s truck full of KitKat chocolate has disappeared without a trace. Not only was the chocolate manufacturer eager to deliver the sweet snacks to their customers in time for Easter, but they also expected to earn a pretty Euro.
With the prices of many goods having shot up following the hike in global oil prices, there are not many luxury items people are likely to buy at this time, except a mouthwatering bar of chocolate.
Probably in the hope that someone will provide a tip on the truck’s whereabouts, the company has explained that it is possible to identify chocolate from the lost bulk by scanning chocolate bars for their batch code.
How Much is the Lost Chocolate?
Nestle says the missing chocolate was 12 tons when the delivery truck left the company’s manufacturing plant in Italy. The carrier, which was destined for Poland, had 413,793 bars of KitKat chocolate onboard.
