Action movie legend Chuck Norris is dead. He passed away on Thursday, 19th, 2026, at the age of 86.

Norris, who was born in Ryan town, Jefferson County, Oklahoma, in 1940, was a martial arts expert. He became popular for his action movies in the 1980s, Missing in Action and Walker, Texas Ranger, making him a household name.

Besides being a Martial Arts grandmaster and a Hollywood star, Norris was a US Air Force veteran. He won several Martial Arts championships and founded his unique style, the Chun Kuk Do.

Norris has acted with popular stars such as Bruce Lee, the most celebrated Martial Arts expert of the 20th century. Lee’s 1972 movie, The Way of the Dragon, is credited with propelling Norris to the limelight.

Chuck Norris is survived by his wife and five children. Two young adult twins, a son and a daughter, are with his wife, Gena O’Kelley, while two sons are from his first marriage with Dianne Holechek.

Then there is a daughter that he learnt about in 2004 when she was 26.
