Tomorrow, April 5th, is the last Friday of Ramadhan, and Israel sees the day as a great one to mark the country’s greatest milestone in recent days.

Israel has been involved in an uneven fight with Palestine, with the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) causing mayhem along the Gaza strip. The IDF continues to strike from the air as thousands of Civilians ravage in squalor for lack of essential goods and services.

Military strikes by the Israeli forces have, in recent days, killed aid workers, leading organizations such as the World Central Kitchen to halt humanitarian operations.

However, the greatest feat, according to Israel, is managing to hit the Iranian consulate in Damascus.

It is Victory for Israel

Israel is celebrating the murder of Iranian military personnel in Syria. On Monday, April 1st, the IDF attacked the Iranian consulate in Syria. That stealth but vicious attack culminated in the elimination of senior generals in the Iranian Revolutionary Guard.

According to a source in Galilee, Israel dispatched six 535 fighters and twenty powerful rockets to bombard the Iranian embassy. Apparently, their target was the senior Iranian commanders who were said to have been meeting in the building’s annex.

The success of the Israeli operation was in killing those senior Iranian  Revolutionary Guard officers. Apparently, the affected generals had been responsible for not only training and arming the people fighting alongside Iran, but also financing them.

Israel believes Iran has proxies in neighboring countries, including Syria and Lebanon.

Iran Vows to Retaliate

Following the serious and unexpected attack on the Iranian embassy, where 6 Syrian civilians were killed, Iran has sworn vengeance against Israel. This means that the animosity in the Middle East is likely to escalate rather than diminish.

Meanwhile, the eyes of the world’s most powerful countries are focused on the Russia-Ukraine war. Therefore, the fighting
in Gaza and Syria
is likely to continue without intervention.

There is also the possibility of other countries in the Middle East being drawn into the skirmishes one way or another.
